Runs the booth and serves up chili and salsa with efficiency and style. Always willing to chat with you (unless it's too early in the morning). Takes most of the photos you see on this site. If she's not at a cookoff, she's probably at a Journey concert! She's the one who came up with the "Serving Wench" title so don't blame me!
After being needed to make a cookoff a qualifying event, Mary Alice joined the ICS and started "Rock 'n' Roll Chili". A taste of victory has given her the "chili bug"! Once you get that, it's all down hill. Although she originally only competed in chili verde and salsa, she's finally given in and is now doing red chili too. Told you it was downhill. ()
An occasional server when she's not working. Has competed as a cook because somehow thought she could cook better chili than her father. (She actually did beat her father in two out of three categories her first time out -- beginner's luck.) She competed with the team name "Happy Chili".

When another cook was needed to make a cookoff a qualifying event, "Fat Rat Chili" came into existence. A second place finish in salsa has her thinking about doing it again.
Loves to eat chili (or just about anything) but can't due to allergies. Will sneak the occasional spill when he can.
Often comes to cookoffs when allowed and there is extra help. Loves absolutely everybody and is always up for a good belly rub. Would love to be a chili cook but knows he can't trust himself not to eat it before he turned it in to the judges.
